Understanding and Supporting Survivors

What is Trauma

Following trauma, you may feel overwhelmed by fear, sadness, guilt, anger or grief. Some people find it hard to cope and it might take a while to come to terms with what has happened. The support of family and friends is very important. These fact sheets offer ideas to support those you love.

Reconnect - Rebuild

Returning to work after injury and trauma, or retraining for a new career can be challenging. Long term work absence generally has a negative impact on health and wellbeing. Our whole-of-person approach provides needs-assessed assistance to achieve meaningful and sustainable employment.

Corporate Training

Statistically, many employees have been exposed to traumas such as accidents or assault. As a leader, you and your organisation will benefit from understanding the impact trauma has on the health and behaviours of your staff, and you can learn effective strategies to support your teams.
